Antonietta’s Ambulance Wish was to visit home and enjoy quality time with her family

On the 17th of December 2025, Antonietta’s Ambulance Wish was fulfilled with a special visit to her family home, together with her loved ones. Ambulance Wish South Australia, in partnership with Central Adelaide Palliative Care Service, made her special Wish come true, creating memories that will last forever for Antonietta and her family.

Antonietta began her journey from the palliative care unit with the Ward Clerk playing “Take Me Home”. This set the tone for her Wish. She travelled in the Wish Ambulance with her husband to the family home. Antonietta and her husband built their home together, where they have remained the sole homeowners and filled it with filled with a lifetime of memories

The Wish took place on a hot Adelaide day, yet inside the house was calm and cool as everyone shared food, drinks and stories. The walls of their home tell the family story, with generations of wedding photographs, baby pictures and treasured experiences.

Margherita, her daughter, described the house with affection, saying, “This house has many memories and is very homely. We all come here and instantly relax”. This is the home Antonietta created for everyone.
