J’s Ambulance Wish was to go home
On the 25th of May 2026, J’s Ambulance Wish was fulfilled when she was able to visit her home once again. Ambulance Wish South Australia, in
partnership with Southern Adelaide Palliative Service, fulfilled this Wish, creating memories that last forever for J and her loved ones.

J travelled in the Wish Ambulance to the home she had lived in for the past 30 years, where she was welcomed by her mother, her son, and his
partner. Together they spent time in the sunny loungeroom overlooking the front garden and J especially enjoyed going through her clothing
and wardrobe with her family. While this was taking place, J’s beloved dog happily played fetch in the backyard with the Wish Day team.
J and her family loved spending time together in the home, soaking up each other’s company in a place familiar to them all.
