Colin’s Ambulance Wish was to connect with wildlife and meet a wombat!

𝗔 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻!

On 6 March 2026, Colin’s Ambulance Wish was fulfilled when he got to spend time with Snuffles the wombat as well as Winston the quokka, an experience he had been eagerly looking forward to. Born in Adelaide and having grown up in the UK, Colin has always loved wildlife and been passionate about wood carving.

He was joined by his close friends Leah and Will, along with many nurses, staff and volunteers who have supported him along the way. Being with Snuffles and Winston brought his love of wildlife to life.

Reflecting on the day, Colin shared, “It was out of this world.”

Ambulance Wish South Australia, in partnership with Southern Adelaide Palliative Service and Animals Anonymous Pty Ltd, made his special Wish come true.
