J’s Ambulance Wish was to go home and spend time with her family and dogs
On the 16th of June 2026, J’s Ambulance Wish was fulfilled when she returned home to spend time with her family and beloved dogs.
Ambulance Wish South Australia, in partnership with Southern Adelaide Palliative Service, made a special wish come true, creating memories that will last forever for J and her loved ones.
J travelled to her family home in the Wish Ambulance, where she was welcomed by her daughter, son-in-law and grandson. As she entered the house, she was greeted by her excited dogs, who were delighted to see her.
J spent some time sitting under the pergola, watching the rain fall from the large trees surrounding the property. She described the moment as “peaceful”. Being back at home, surrounded by family, familiar surroundings, and her much-loved pets, gave J the opportunity to enjoy a quiet and meaningful visit with those closest to her.
