Our Wish Ambulance
Our Wish Ambulance has been provided by St John Ambulance SA to facilitate safe transport, with St John Ambulance SA ambulance officers ensuring the safe transport of Wish Recipients
Our Wish Bears (Peter)
Every Ambulance Wish recipient worldwide receives a Wish Bear to comes along on their Ambulance Wish and that they keep afterwards to create memories that last forever.
The Ambulance Wish SA Wish Bear is named Peter, after the father of the Shyla Mills, who founded the program in both Queensland and SA. Peter (a GP from Keith and Victor Harbor) sadly died of kidney failure in 2023 while Ambulance Wish SA was underdevelopment and was never able to have a Ambulance Wish.
Our Memory Blankets
Every Ambulance Wish Recipient in SA receives a Memory Blanket, donated by a community group in the Adelaide Hills. These Memory Blankets keep the Wish Recipient warm throughout their Ambulance Wish and they keep the Memory Blanket afterward to create memories that last forever.
