E’s Ambulane Wish was to was to spend time with her family at Seacliff Beach
On 19 January 2026, E’s Ambulance Wish was fulfilled with a trip to Seacliff Beach, surrounded by her loved ones. Ambulance Wish South Australia, in partnership with the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network made her special Wish come true, creating memories that will last forever for E and her family.
E arrived at the beach in the Wish Ambulance, greeted by the sea air and her family. Having lived in Moana for 12 years, the coastline held a special place in her heart, and her son honoured that connection by bringing her a rock from Moana Beach, which she later took back with her to the hospital.
True to her vibrant spirit, E set the tone for the day with bright colours and her love for Port Power, wearing a red shirt for her Wish Day. Her family joined in, wearing Hawaiian-style shirts with Port Power colours, adding a joyful touch to the morning.
A beautiful moment came when E held sand in her hands and felt the sea water on her skin, which was then kept in vials as keepsakes for her and her three grandchildren.
Her son shared that the day was “not just what we’d hoped for, but what Mum wished for and wanted.”
