Volunteer opportunities include:

Wish Ambulance Driver Volunteer
This is an opportunity for people recent/current employed/volunteer paramedic or ambulance driver to volunteer with the program.

Note: Person must have current first aid certificate, evidence of recent ambulance driving experience and stretcher management.

This volunteer role leads the transportation of the Wish Recipient, drives the Wish Ambulance, transports the stretcher, provides direction to the Wish Ambulance Support Officer Volunteer and provides first aid if required for any wish team member.

Wish Day Lead Volunteer
This is an opportunity for people with nursing, social work, paramedic, medical, allied health to volunteer for the program. This volunteer role coordinates the wish itself and wish day team on the day of the wish – ensuring that the Wish Care plan is followed, risks are managed and consents are signed.

Wish Ambulance Support Officer Volunteer

This is an opportunity for people with recent / current nursing experience (enrolled or registered); allied health experience; paramedic experience or frontline experience (including fire or police) to volunteer with the program.

Note: Person must have current first aid certificate. We can provide stretcher training

This volunteer role supports the Wish Ambulance Driver Volunteer with transportation of the Wish Recipient, transports the stretcher and provides first aid if required for any wish team member.

Wish Memory Makers Volunteer
This is an opportunity for people with Graphic Designers, Film Makers, Marketing and Communications skills to volunteer for the program. This volunteer role supports to program to create Wish Memory Books, Wish short films and write Wish Stories. There are also opportunities to these experts to share other supports for the program.

Ambulance Wish Fundraisers Volunteer
This is an opportunity for people with events and fundraising skills to volunteer for the program. This volunteer role supports to program to raise funds through event activities.
