The Ambulance Wish SA program is a collaborative program managed by Palliative Care SA in collaboration with St John Ambulance SA and Flinders University. The program launched in May 2025 following more than two years of collaborative planning, governance development and operational design.
Regional expansion, including the possibility of a Limestone Coast hub, has always formed part of our program’s strategic vision. Since the launch of the program, a number of individuals and organisations have approached Palliative Care SA regarding regional hub opportunities, and a draft implementation framework has been developed to guide any future expansion.
