Heidi’s Ambulance Wish was to visit Port Noarlunga Beach with her family and friends

On 22nd September 2026, Heidi’s Ambulance Wish was fulfilled when she visited Port Noarlunga Beach with her family and friends. Ambulance Wish South Australia, in partnership with Southern Adelaide Palliative Service, made a special wish come true, creating memories that will last forever for Heidi and her loved ones.

Heidi travelled to beach in the Wish Ambulance where she met her family and close friends, along with Saphire, her poodle. Together, they enjoyed photos on the jetty before heading to the Port Noarlunga Hotel for lunch, drinks, and a spin on the pokies.

Born and raised in Christies, Heidi has strong family ties to the area and fond memories of her grandmother’s shack on Beach Road. Her grandson made the day even more special by picking flowers for her, which she tucked into the Wish Bear’s shirt.

With an ear-to-ear smile, Heidi gave her loved ones a “Queen’s wave” goodbye. “I had a wonderful day,” she said. “The best part was being with family and friends.”
